🌍🔥 A big step in the fight against wildfires: Greece will be the first country to build a national wildfire system using OroraTech technology! 🇬🇷 🛰️ In recent years, Greece has faced a significant challenge with wildfires, affecting approximately 2% of the country’s total land area. The rough mountainous terrain and over 6,000 islands make firefighting a daunting task, especially in remote areas with limited communication. Thanks to OroraTech’s cutting-edge wildfire detection system, Greece will now implement a national satellite-based wildfire monitoring solution to tackle this urgent issue. This development is led by the Hellenic Ministry of Digital Governance e and the Hellenic Space Center, and implemented by the European Space Agency - ESA. At Ananda, we believe that, if we want to achieve the #EU's target of a 24% reduction in emissions by 2030, it is imperative to prioritise the rapid electrification of trucks.⚡ This is why we invested in Decade Energy, a company that is revolutionising the logistics industry by providing a holistic solution to the electrification of truck depots. 🚛 Transportation is responsible for approximately 25% of the EU's greenhouse gas emissions. Despite trucks accounting for roughly a quarter of all road emissions in the EU, only 2% of the fleet is electric. 🤯 🔗 By integrating various components of the electrification ecosystem, Decade equips logistics operators with the tools needed to plan and implement the electrification of their fleets. In a strategic move to bolster our position in the sustainable transportation sector, today we are announcing our partnership with Switch. As a global leader of electric vehicle (EV) charging systems, we are acquiring Josev, the pioneering EV Charger Operating System (OS) for AC and commercial vehicle charging solutions. With that partnership, we will take over full operational responsibility for Switch’s Josev team and their cutting-edge products. Josev’s integration into our existing suite of EV charging products will be supported by our new partnership with Josev creator, Switch. We’re super excited to share that we invested in Decade Energy to accelerate the #decarbonisation of logistics fleets! 🚛 Transportation is responsible for approximately 25% of the EU's greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions.
