    🤔 𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐢𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐜𝐭 𝐝𝐨𝐞𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐫𝐞𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐫𝐞𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐧 𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐨𝐝 𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐨𝐧 𝐜𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐫 𝐫𝐞𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐧𝐬? At the end of April, Amazon Germany changed its 𝐫𝐞𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐧 𝐠𝐮𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐞 𝐩𝐨𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐲 for some product categories and reduced the return period from 30 𝐝𝐚𝐲𝐬 𝐭𝐨 14 𝐝𝐚𝐲𝐬. We asked ourselves whether this had an impact on vendors' return rates with the following result. We only analysed products from the 𝐜𝐚𝐦𝐞𝐫𝐚, 𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐢𝐜𝐬, 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐮𝐭𝐞𝐫 & 𝐚𝐜𝐜𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐨𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐬𝐮𝐩𝐩𝐥𝐢𝐞𝐬 𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐠𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐬. 👉 On average, the customer return rate for all vendors' products analysed decreased by 0.5% in June 2024 compared to the annual average. 👉 This decline could be diagnosed in 81% of the vendors analysed. 👉 However, the rate has hardly changed compared to the same month of the previous year. 👉 When comparing the first six months of 2023 and 2024, the returns rate fell by an average of just 0.1%. 🙋♂️We will continue to monitor this and investigate what impact the changes to the take-back guarantee regulations in the second half of the year will have on customer returns with AMVisor. 🤝 https://lnkd.in/eFgG92TS #amazon #customerreturns #vendor #vendorcentral #brandprotection
