SICPA, represented by its Chief Strategic Affairs Officer, Mr. Jean-Philippe Gaudin, had the honour of accompanying Federal Councillor H.E. Guy Parmelin throughout the week in China. Mr. Yvan Sprünglin, General Manager of the SICPA China subsidiary was also present at the Sino-Swiss Economic Forum held on this occasion. The SICPA Group and its Brazilian office, SICPA América do Sul, have decided to actively support Brazil, which is facing a difficult situation due to historic flooding. The Group has launched its volunteer programme for an emergency mobilisation focused on collecting essential items for the flood victims in the state of Rio Grande do Sul. SICPA employees and their families donated essential items, with the company matching the donations to maximise their impact. The donations were organised by the company's volunteer ambassadors and delivered to their destination in partnership with the Federation of Industries of the State of Rio de Janeiro - Firjan, which provided logistical support to the Brazilian Air Force.

Switzerland plays an important role in space exploration and research. In this context, SICPA was delighted to welcome at the unlimitrust Campus, a conference on "Switzerland in #Space", with Mr. Grégoire Bourban - Head of Space Exchange Switzerland, who presented the achievements and prospects of Swiss industry in space, and the First Swiss astronaut at European Space Agency - ESA - Mr. Claude Nicollier, who recounted key moments of his career, such as the maintenance mission he carried out on the Hubble Space Telescope.
