is it possible to slightly blend the white color with the blue colors? or should i try screen the map and make a map in photoshop and then add it in

You can use Mix Node colors node inside Blender, connect the first and the second color to yellow connectors

You could also use in your case as project, Mix Shader nodes like this to merge white color to blue, hope can help you.
