The lights on the front of the modem will indicate the status of the modem and its connection state.
Whenever the modem is first turned on it performs a
Power
On
Self
Test
The table below is a key for the lights on the front panel of the 2 Wire 2701HG-B DSL modem after it's initial power up and the modem is
initiating the PPPoE session
