New Web Series ‘Pokémon: Paldean Winds’ Revealed

The four-part series depicting ‘the youthful drama of several academy students as they come into their own’ in the Paldea region premieres on the official Pokémon YouTube channel September 6, 2023.

Ash may be retired, but the urge to catch ‘em all will never die. A new web series, Pokémon: Paldean Winds, was announced last week along with other fresh franchise content during the exciting "Pokémon Presents" proceedings.

The series will consist of four parts, with Takato Utsunomiya, Chief Operating Officer of The Pokémon Company, describing it as an original story depicting “the youthful drama of several academy students as they come into their own. Growing and learning as they attend school.”

The trailer dropped alongside the series announcement showcases the unique Pokémon of the Paldea region as well as the show’s beautiful animation style from WIT STUDIO.

Fans of the beloved Japanese franchise can also catch the new anime Pokémon Horizons, streaming now on Pokémon TV, and the stop-motion Pokémon Concierge series coming out on Netflix in December.
