"I will be forever grateful for Yolande's mentorship. I signed up for sessions with her during one of the toughest times of my life. Soon after I asked her to mentor me, I wanted to cancel all of the sessions. I thought I was stretching myself thin. She sensed my fear and wouldn't allow me to give up on myself. I am thankful she didn't think I was stretching myself thin and saw an opportunity for me to stretch out.

She helped me grow as a writer. Because she believed in me, I was influenced to believe in myself.  It has taken a little time, but now, I am confident to call myself a writer without flinching."
