I stayed for 2 weeks with a number of colleagues for a work trip. Strenuous work outdoors in the Arizona summer demands a comfortable place to rest and recover at night. The Crowne Plaza nailed it. The facilities were spotless and well-kept. The staff was welcoming and friendly. The food and drink were superb. They made it feel like a home away from home.

If you want to relax without getting a room, $20 pool pass for the day. Food can be delivered to to pool but not brought in.

I stayed here for 3 nights with my daughter's soccer team for the ECNL tournament. At first, I was amazed at the grounds - beautiful pool, spacious hotel, and clean. We had free breakfast which was helpful with 16 girls and 3 adults in a rather large room, but the breakfast was grab-and-go. Really? For over $200/night, we had one hot item (premade breakfast sandwich), yogurt, granola bars, fruit item (apples one day, bananas the next), and juice. So our players with food allergies had to eat elsewhere and even without food allergies, we had to go elsewhere because one morning the hot food item was a breakfast wrap made with chorizo and green chilies - spicy! At least put out toast and peanut butter and jelly! And NO coffee! I've never stayed at a place that didn't have coffee available 24/7.
Secondly, even though we booked a block of rooms, they gave us rooms all separate and spread apart. We had 4 players to a room - 13-year-old girls - and room numbers ranged from 234 to 250. It didn't feel safe and it was time consuming for us to all connect. Half the time we were wandering around trying to figure out where the rooms are because the hallways didn't have signage! Plus they charged us one price for 2 rooms and one price for the rest even though we booked them on the same block! Like, what?!!!
Finally the worse part is the noise level. My room faced the parking lot and it was LOUD. There was a party truck parked there one night with flashing lights and loud music and I had to call the front desk. Even then it was a full 30 minutes of listening to it at 10 pm before the truck finally left. They also rented rooms to a motorcycle club. So I had to listen to motorcycles revving their engines on and off all night.
Due to the unresponsiveness of the staff and the awful food and lack of coffee compounded by my lack of sleep, I would think twice about staying here again.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Lee B.Pasadena, CA0376Mar 22, 2024
I want to give this resort a higher rating because the overall experience was... fine, I guess, I was there for my step father's family reunion, kind of a no frills experience. It place deserves a 3, and I found it a little pricey, I give a one because I left a single item, a large black metal water bottle, something common and easy to ship, it was expensive, & I even have my name and email engraved into it.
So I contacted lost and found, they said that they saw it at some point, and would get back to me, they never did, & I tried several times, I was then informed of the shipping process, it was super over complicated to have them ship it back to my house in California.
I felt so unimportant, like who care about a paying customer who stayed 3 days. How about you get my home address, bill me, then freaking ship the damned thing. I was never contacted. And never received my item. Wow, so very disappointedHelpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Lin Z.Avery Ranch Parkside, Austin, TX01Jul 25, 2024
Nice view, next door to the golf resort, I like the atmosphere there. It is pretty quiet place and helpful crew team.

This is one of our favorite places. We love the location and the rooms are nice and large. But every time we stay something goes wrong. Mostly it's just the hot tub not working. But this time the air conditioner for the hotel went down. Woke up at 7 very hot. The manager berdita did give us a free breakfast for our trouble. That saved me 20 bucks. But we decided to move to another hotel for the remainder of our vacation. She was no help at relocating us to a sister property. She didn't care if we had to pay more for another hotel. Just took one bad apple and now this is our least favorite place.

This was the third time we stayed that we needed to have someone look at it. Not to hard to turn the pumps back on after draining the hot tub. Wow.
Aug 13, 2023Previous reviewSuch a cool place. Built in 1912 the year we became part of the USA. Rooms are upgraded and clean. Soft beds. Sleep like a baby. The bar area is really nice and the staff is so super friendly. We got two 5 dollar discounts for the bar. We only had fruit and toast for breakfast but the fruit bowl was huge. The pool area was clean and water felt great. So many restaurants and breweries right across the street. No need for an Uber. But we did try Waymo. It comes right to the hotel. And a few places do endless mimosas near bye. Yummy.

What a great spot for a staycation in the Phoenix area! My SO and I spent a weekend here rejuvenating from the stresses of daily life, and could not have been happier.
Pros:
Friendly service: Service was very welcoming and provided recommendations of what to do in the area. They followed up throughout the stay to check in on us as well.
Conveniently located: The hotel is conveniently located in downtown chandler, near many wonderful restaurants and right across the street from the San Tan Brewery and Distillery, which makes that an easy place to walk to!
Very nice pool and facilities: The pool was really wonderful, very clean and with lots of chairs and areas with shade. There is a cabana offering drinks as well.
Spacious rooms: The rooms were spacious and clean, with a lovely bathroom, refrigerator, and updated appliances. The bed was comfy and there was a nice balcony to step onto as well!
Good wifi: Wifi is free and strong, which I appreciated! It was easy to work from this hotel and catch up on some emails.
Dog friendly! The hotel is very dog friendly, which is bonus points! It made my day to see all the cute and happy pups strolling around!
Cons: Absolutely no cons, this was a very pleasant experience, and I will be back! I would recommend for families, couples, and anyone visiting the area.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0Business owner information

We have stayed at this hotel on several occasions due to its convenient location. During a past stay, after checking in, unpacking and going to dinner, we came back to a room that was 91 degrees. This past stay we made sure the air conditioning worked before unpacking and it appeared to work fine. This lasted a day and a half before it quit working when the outside temperature was 115 degrees. We were moved to another room where the air conditioning worked for another day and a half before, once again the it quit working. When we inquired at the front desk we were told a supervisor would call us at least 5-6 differnt times. We never received a call. In addition, we found when we checked out that any meals and drinks purchased at the hotel included an additional $30 in fees and charges. Needless to say, we will not stay at the hotel again!!!

My husband and I loved this resort! It's right in the heart of downtown Chandler, so there are plenty of things to do walking distance. The resort is huge, which can make it a little confusing to get around, but we still had a great time. We stayed here since my best friend was getting married at a nearby venue, and it worked out perfectly. The staff was very friendly and we enjoyed some delicious food before the wedding festivities started.
