Atkinson Farm

- was really fun
- even though we came sort of late and they told us not a lot of strawberries were left, i was still able to find a lot of good strawberries
- the lady helping us was nice

Atkinson Farms is such a cute and family friendly spot. The staff in the front office are very welcoming.

We came out to pick some strawberries and had a blast! They have a great shaded area with picnic tables where you could sit down and enjoy picnicking while the kiddos play on the playground.

Definitely recommend bringing the family and kiddos out for a fun day on the farm.

Took all 3 of our kids there. Absolutely loved it. Spent half the day there. The playground was awesome and me and daddy had a blast picking strawberries. Got a couple more things at their farmers market on the way out. Highly recommend.

So sad we moved and can't visit as often. We love this place! The people working there are all friendly and helpful!

Our favorite farmers market in this area! Produce is also fresh. We always have great customer service. I especially enjoy their collard and mustard greens. They also have farm fresh eggs and meats that come from their livestock (they use an outside processing plant).

I have been hearing about this farm lately online, and I have driven by it countless times but never actually taken the time to go inside. Now, they don't have strawberry picking all the time, especially now that it is summer, but they did have strawberry and blackberry picking in March and April and currently they have sunflower picking where you can cut a flower for a dollar and take it with you.

I think it's a little bit misleading because you think that they charge by the pound for the berries and charge by the pound for the fruit, but you also have to pay the admission fee of each child of going into the field, and pay for the buckets separately which of course every little bit starts to add up quickly. I did not have time this day to look around the store that they have but I definitely will be back to look around some more and get some fresh groceries from here.

I like that they have play area for the kids to play in, they have a separate sand pit and a covered area with little toys which is the main reason for the stars and honestly a huge part of why we want to come back. I would recommend to go here at least once and try it out, even if the Texas sun is beating down. I would also love to come in autumn so we can check out the things they have to do during the fall harvest.

The senior management workers were very rude. The middle aged woman said that if someone can't pay thelat they need to go out into the field and work for it. I was blown back by a response like that. It also was not clear that when you pick you have to buy all in your basket. A man was leaving their shop upset about paying $50 but we didn't know what he was talking about until we went to check out. Very disappointed went a while back and it was a good experienc so I brough a friend and her family with me this time (their first time) but from this experience I will not be back and certainly not recommend this place to others.

went yesterday and there are lots of strawberry's still. The strawberries are excellent in flavor, wished they were open until 5 I would be able to go back and get more.I hope next Saturday to make it for more berries

We love to come here and pick berries! I always buy some fresh produce on my way out as well. I love how convenient it is, and they have nice well kept facilities. Its great to come and have family fun while supporting a local business at the same time! Win win!

Cute little farm for kids to pick strawberries. Clean, I did not see the facilities to comment on them. There is a little store to buy different produce and preserved items. They charge an entry fee to pick strawberries and there is a small fee per basket. Not sure if they are organic. Fun for farm pics and strawberries were nice size. They have a nice play ground and a cute train ride. Service was meh, it was like being in an assembly line, did not have that welcoming feeling.
