I stop listening to this radio station along time ago especially the morning show, they really need some new radio personalities Shana G needs retire and let it go....

Morning show Update, Lex Jones plays the exact same pre recorded mix of songs every single day. It's ridiculous and Sana G needs to take speech classes. She says Uhhhhhh for no reason non stop between words. Can you speak?!?!? Today is uhhhhhhh, I'm going to uhhhhh, y'all ever seen uhhhhhhhh , Lex Jones is about to uhhhhhhh wtf

I used to listen to the KMEL all of the time, at home and on my shoulder on the sidewalk. At home one day their broadcast sounded exactly like the DJ was at the piano with me. Their office looks like a safe place in a well-to-do neighborhood.

bro love kmel!! it's one of my favorite bay area stations. one thing is i always try to request songs thru call in and they never pick up :( so if y'all are reading this i'd love if yall would pick up the phone.....thanks for the great music xx

Sana G should be clown of the day. How is she going to go on live radio and complain about her holiday vacation in Hawaii, when most of the bay area is still on lockdown. Not 20 minutes before Sana told her said sob story of being locked out on her hotel balcony, she made fun of the 49ers for not having a place to practice at their home stadium, because Santa Clara county has banned contact sports for a few weeks. She also had to make it known that she was a Dallas Cowboys fan. Sana went on to say that she got locked out on her balcony in her hotel in Hawaii, complained to the hotel manager about not receiving any compensation, such as a change in hotel room or offering any medical help. She then went on to say that she lost her glasses and her debit card. It sounds like Sana G got to turnt on her vacation, locked herself out on the hotel balcony, and then went for a dip in the ocean, causing her to lose her glasses and debit card. Wow i wish i could have had a horrible vacation in Hawaii, but i couldnt because my county is still on lockdown, and I have been honoring shelter in place since March. Im sure Sana G would tell you that she deserved that vacation she went on, guess what lady? we all deserve a vacation, but we cant go on one, because of COVID and all those people who are having trouble keeping their cheeks in their seat, like Sana G. Now you might tell me that Sana G might not be from Santa Clara County, or San Francisco, or san mateo county. Which have all been placed in the purple tier. She might be from Santa Cruz county, which just yesterday experienced record hospitalizations. But does Sana G travel to and from work? If so, she has to pass through several counties to get to KMELS headquarters in San Francisco. Now you might say that Sana doesn't drive to the studio every morning, and instead she is doing her job virtually online. In the past months, Sana has also complained about Lady Rays internet, and how she was unable to report the traffic several times, and saying that Lady Rays needs to figure out her internet situation. During a time like this, we all need to be more flexible with our new job lines which are having to be virtual. Im sure all the parents who are experiencing internet problems, who are lucky enough to have access to internet, or those who do not have access at all, did not appreciate that. We are dealing with enough in our new roles, that no one should be shamed for having slow or untrustworthy internet. This morning as she told her story, her cohosts said nothing. They were not concerned for Sana G, and that's because her story was nothing but to get attention. She was not in any immediate danger, the hotel really didn't cause her problem, and she just wanted the whole bay area to know that she was on vacation over thanksgiving break. Sana G is the clown of the day. Clown of the week, and clown of the month. She should be ashamed of herself for vacationing during a time like this. Has she quarantined since being back from Hawaii? If Gavin Newsome is shamed for going out to dinner, which he should also be ashamed about, Sana G should be shamed for going on vacation, during a time where so many want to be with their loved ones, but cannot.

Morning show is trash, same 7 songs all day. How are you gonna call yourself #1 radio for hip-hop in the bay and your main host isn't even from here! WACK point blank and simple‍

KMEL now plays the SAME rap songs over&over (at least they've spared us from Justin Bieber) It could be called the Drake&Rihanna station... and this isn't the early Rihanna with her great songs "Pon de Replay","SOS" and "Disturbia." They occasionally play good songs (like Beyonce).. but it's rare. Not sure if their Sunday morning lineup still has decent talk&inspirational Gospel music, or if Chuy Gomez is around.

KMEL used to be at 98.1... but now that has become an easy listening soft rock station. Again, ironic because there's already KOIT.

Idk the morning show is alright, kinda miss hearing chuey Idk what happened there maybe it was his time .
Hopefully , I mean he was great so Idk why they'd get rid of him.

THey're supposed to be the station of the bay but I don't hear that much bay, ew I even heard Bobby Schmurda on there like on repeat.
They got the young thugs an the young homie yucky garbage quan.

Idk that's cool and all I guess that's what people are listening to these days but why badger me every hour or even sometimes even half hour with it.
I went back an listened to the radio for a couple days to see what I was missing an please someone get a garbage bag cuz bruh this music don't go.

Idk I find myself really annoyed overly by the continuous annoying songs, I know radio overplays music but it was a bit much like they trying to hypnotize me into liking it.

Idk first it was the non stop nikki an drake now its the non stop young thug an quan guy like cmon bust out some variety an give us that bay music.
I wanna station like the old days where I could turn it on an go yeah sounds like the bay to me yeeeeah buddy thats my yay area music.

Problem is sauna. I hate people that knock other people hustle. Her energy is just really messy and some things her and dc say are literally just so ignorant almost all the time. The music is always the best! Literally. But to have to hear the constant negative subliminals and talking down on someone is just too much sometimes. I don't understand how you can talk about these celebrities who made it who's doing better than you. It's just messy.
