EULiST and European strategy for universities
Although there are significant differences between the universities involved in this alliance (location, size of the institution and number of students, majority disciplinary focus, etc.), they are united by a set of shared values and principles. These include equality, inclusiveness, diversity, democracy and peaceful international cooperation. The members of the Society strive for high quality interdisciplinary research, open science and open scientific data for the general public, and ensuring academic freedom to create values that benefit society.
"This is a new way of cooperation between European universities; the next phase of internationalisation. We consider it essential that this network allows us to share experiences, use best practices and inspire each other. As a fully-fledged technical university with a research focus, we can contribute our expertise in research and education that supports societal needs and can reflect the needs of society and industry. We bring best practices and case studies from the Czech Republic to find common solutions to problems."
