Unsolicited Products

During the 2nd week of July, 2024 AVAST sent me an advertisement for VPN. This advertisement filed my entire screen. I could not delete this advertisement. AVAST forced me into singing up for VPN. They violated my privacy by accessing my computer. They should quit trying to force customers into buying their proeducts.

SId was great in resolving my problem

SId was great in resolving my problem. After doing so he went thru my apps & told me I was good to go. t took him a bit as my issue was not a simple fix.
Rita R needs to learn English better. Customers get frustrated constantly repeating info already on the case #, I understand a few questions , but asking me again to tell he the problem when it all documented. i told her I will not proceed till somebody helps me with the first screen that popped up as I didn't know what was behind it. She wanted me to open a web site & this took 20 minutes to move forward.
In the end she was good & persevered to help us move on. It took too long in my opinion too get the next level of support.

Refund = Impossible

Auto renewal completed - £90! I missed the renewal, fair enough thats on me. But trying to get a refund under their 30 day guarantee is almost impossible. One agent tried to argue there had to be something wrong, despite me telling them their own terms. Absolutely awful customer service

Avast is not a need it is Essential For Every PC

My Name is RAJ and I have been using Avast for more then 13 years. The First thing I ask anyone to download for their new PC is Avast. I love Avast because it is User friendly and once installed I do not have to worry about Malware or some Virus. Coming to my Experience I do not keep a track, But on daily basis Avast stops me getting to fake websites and also stops Malware or Viruses. It is not an easy task to make someone keep loving a software for these many years. I Congratulate the whole Avast Team for doing a Great Job for more than a decade and keeping me and my PC Safe and Healthy.

I have been used Avast solution for more than 20y.

I have been used Avast solution for more than 20y. And I would like give a honored praise to keeping my data private and safe til now. I knew Avast when I was Technical Instructor for Routing & Switching solutions. since this period I always recommended Avast for all my co-workers and friends. I'm completely confident in all solutions from Avast and hope remain in this way.

Straight up the software is super…

Straight up the software is super pushy, and to be honest, I tried the premium. It was terrible. Half the software I had to disable due to it preventing me from being able to connect to LAN ethernet connection.

Good support and customer services

I have been with Avast now for approximately 18 months now, in this time I have had no issues with the security when online and the scam results are a lot lower than before I chose Avast. The customer service is very important to me, I have received first class support, even when money is tight. It is nice to be listened to and then explore my options. I highly recommend Avast.

I don't trust the app

I paid for a year's subscription for the Avast app for my mobile phone. After a few days, the automatic scanning id set up, no longer worked. How can I trust Avast to protect my phone when something as simple as a scheduled scan won't work? It took ages to get a response via email, and when they did, it was just vague workarounds that bore no relation to my problem or phone. I've since uninstalled as I can't trust it.

More than ten years of protection

More than ten years of protection, maintenance, anti tracking, driver updates, VPN, and more. Never had a problem. Never been hacked, never been infected.
Customer service has always been very good to handle my inquiries. I can't think of any reason not to recommend AVAST products and services.

good anti-virus system!

i don't have many complaints mainly because i don't have any expectations. having a security system for my computer hasn't ever been something i deeply thought about ever. even so, i was pleasantly surprised to see this system work! you do regular scans on my pc, and protect me from viruses online, it's something i'm grateful for! if anyone is looking for a simple, great anti-virus system, i'm sure Avast will make you happy! thanks!

Fantastic app

Fantastic app. Does all it promises and has never let me down in all the years I have used it. It is constantly securing my computer activity in the background and updates are automatic. I am notified if a threat has been secured, which is always good to know.
Queries are resolved quickly and without fuss, and the staff are extremely competent and pleasant. No unmet promises with Avast.
I will remain a supporter for the foreseeable future, based on my years of experience using this app. Love it!
