We will cover three focus areas designed to either selling against Teams or selling (for/with) to complement Teams.
Against - Connect is an outstanding UC & Collaboration solution with a great Contact Center. Teams can’t match what Connect does on the telephony side.
Teams is stronger on the collaboration, but we are working hard to close that gap and level the playing field.
When it comes to complementing Teams, we are offering two new ways, depending on the customer needs, to approach Microsoft Teams customers
Connect With Teams is a license that is designed to sit beside Teams. It’s a two-app approach that uses both the Teams and Connect apps. Teams is used for collaboration and Connect is used for manage telecom features.
Connect For Teams is a license that integrates the Connect PBX into the native Teams app. Using TeamsConnector middleware, users make and receive calls through the Teams app. TeamsConnector is our branded version of Call2Teams.
2020 has shown us that calibration tools really important and Microsoft Teams has probably seen the most explosive growth
Lockdown and the requirement for Windows based collaboration
With iPECS2Teams, a customer can retain the collaborative environment they are used to while incorporating the wealth of features and benefits that come with the iPECS Cloud.
This is true whether the customer is using the Teams client on desktop or roaming via WiFi or 4G on their mobile through the Teams app.
So we have the best of both worlds, using the collaboration features in the normal Teams environment and then if someone calls my extension or I need to make an outbound call, I can make the call from the client and it is then pushed out through the Cloud platform using an call bundles that I have set.
