Web 3.0 is the next evolution of the World Wide Web that aims to make it smarter and more personalized. It will treat the entire web as a giant database that can be queried to provide tailored answers and recommendations to users. For example, a user could ask "What are my options for an action movie and Chinese food?" and Web 3.0 would analyze their question, search the internet, and present optimized results. It is expected that mobile technology will be integral to Web 3.0's development given growing mobile internet usage worldwide. Web 3.0 could enable more advanced mobile applications for tourism, banking, and marketing.

- 9. With Web 1.0... Sites were static! Sites weren't interactive! and Applications were proprietary!

- 13. Then came along Web 2.0...
- 14. Web 2.0 became the 'next big thing'!
- 16. With Web 2.0... We could suddenly update and change site contents (blogs, facebook, myspace) We could share contents (Wikis, Youtube, etc) Collaboration became thoroughly possible (Skype, Cisco WebEx, etc) Applications could now employ the open source philosophy (Mozilla, OpenOffice.org, etc)

- 19. And so, Web 3.0 was born!
- 20. However... It is still uncertain whether Web 3.0 is already in full gear, or the web today is simply an evolution of Web 2.0
- 21. Nevertheless... Let's take a look at Web 3.0 and how it compares with the previous versions...

- 24. So what exactly is the Catch ?
- 25. Web 3.0 is going to be like having a personal assistant who knows everything about you and can access all the information on the internet to answer any question.

- 27. If you want to go out for a movie of a specific genre and also want to eat out after the movie, you will type in a complex sentence and the search engine will fetch the answer for you.
- 28. An example of Web 3.0 will be "I want to go for an action movie and then eat at a good Chinese restaurant. My options are?"
- 29. You query string will be: - analyzed by the Web 3.0 browser - looked up the Internet - fetch all the possible answers - and also organize the results for you.

- 32. Gartner Research predicts that in 2014, 90% of the world will own a mobile phone capable of accessing the Internet.
- 33. Even as it uncertain what Web 3.0 is going to be like exactly, almost all the theorists agree on one thing.
- 34. Mobile technology will be at the forefront of any new Internet technological push
- 35. In essence... With Web 3.0 => Mobile Tourism => Mobile Banking & => Mobile Marketing WILL BE MUCH MORE EASIER!!!
