Sena Loyd presented on apps that are useful for libraries and patrons. She discussed how apps have become increasingly important as more people own smartphones and access the internet on mobile devices. Some of the apps highlighted included OverDrive for accessing ebooks and audiobooks from libraries, Reference USA for business information, and AccessMyLibrary for accessing online library resources using your location. The presentation showed that apps can help libraries connect with patrons and provide services in new mobile ways.
