Web 2.0 for Teachers: A Summer Institute 5-day, 2 recertification credits Incentives! Lots of sandbox time The opportunity to collaborate what we did

groundwork 30 minute thursdays pre-approved recertification credits adult learner research what we did
adult learners --are digital immigrants  (all over the place on the learning curve) -- always  try to avoid failure --want learning to be practical  (must know what it will do for them) --need immediate feedback    (corollary:  immediate gratification hinders trial and error) --learn by comparing past experience to new one what we did
