Introduction
• My internship was based at Webenza Bangalore, a
leading digital media marketing firm
• I completed my required two months by serving as a
member of the Social media marketing team.
• My key responsibilities included: Client Servicing,
Account Management, Social Media Marketing,
Research and ideation
Objectives
• Understand importance of digital media marketing in present
scenario
• Understand how a digital media marketing agency works
• Create and manage digital marketing campaigns
• Help identify opportunities that will promote growth on social
media sites
• Create quality content for social media sites
• Use social media to reach marketing objectives

 Research
 Competitive Analysis
 Pitching in ideas for campaigns and business development pitches
 Community moderation, including answering comments and
questions, prompting further engagement and maintaining
community standards.
 Content curation of relevant articles, social media content etc.
 Blog monitoring
 Compiling data
 Act as a bridge between the client and the design team
 Prepare monthly content calendar
 Manage social media accounts on Facebook and Twitter
 Manage and execute social media contests and engagement
activities
 Online outreach and promotion using Facebook, Quora,
LinkedIn, Twitter, and more

Challenges
One main challenge is that social media is real
time. You have to be monitoring a lot of
different sites, trying to keep abreast of the
latest trends and news that might be important
to share with target audience
Learning
• The impact of technology on the traditional marketing mix.
• How to use digital marketing to increase sales and grow business
• Understand the basics of social media marketing
• Became familiar with the elements of the digital marketing plan
• How to reach your online target market and develop basic digital
marketing objectives
