Profile
I am currently in a 3 month contract with Armada Solutions working at Fuji Xerox on the NAB Cheque
scanning project. Here I am involved with the security & internetworking of the various financial
networks. Recently ceased working for a mid-sized Infrastructure company called RCR Tomlinson as a
senior network engineer. Previously, I was at Communications, Design, Management (CDM) as a
Senior Network Engineer. I have also contracted for the Commonwealth Bank as a Network
Performance Engineer. Previous to that, I was employed by the Queensland Government agency Citec
as a Network Analyst in the Sydney office within the Network & Security Services group. I have over
35 years of experience in the operations, design and maintenance of IP and switched data networks. I
also have over 15 years of experience in team leader roles. I have a Strong background in design,
build, install, integrate and maintenance of multiple complex network technologies, platforms and
systems.
The main emphasis of my work to date has been in the architecture of backbone and client networks,
the delivery, support and maintenance of international and domestic networks for customers and to
provision new services onto these networks. I have a well-developed technical knowledge of network
management, security & operational principles with a focus on customer satisfaction. In all my roles I
have had strong client interaction both over the phone and with face to face meetings.

latency on some financial applications which were affecting the NYK office and the
interconnect to “Baxter”.

• Completed entire network upgrade for large courier company (Startrack). Including
Internet connectivity. This included the architecture of a new routing design for the
conversion from one carrier to another carrier with minimal down time whilst both
N/W’s connected concurrently.

• Completed network upgrade for a regional Bank (Rabobank). I managed the roll out
of the new devices, testing & the integration to current network. The ongoing
management of the entire N/W.
• Successfully migrated the Veolia network onto the Citec MPLS network and ongoing
management of the network for Veolia.
• Successful installation of many network devices on a variety of communication links
for a range of Citec’s managed clients.
