QUESTIONNAIRE ANALYSIS

75% or 15 of the
people who answered
my questionnaire were
males and only 25% or
5 of the responses
were female. This
shows that my target
audience will be mostly
male as this is slightly
bias towards male
audiences
AGE
This shows that the
majority of the people
answering my
questionnaire are
between the ages of 1217 with 95%. This gives
me the target audience
of 12-17 year olds as
this was the majority of
the responses come
from
FAVOURITE MUSIC VIDEO
This shows that the most
popular type of music video
narrowly was narrative with
45% and the least liked type of
video was performance with
only 15%. Narrowly in second
place was concept with 40%.
This shows that people like to
have a story to follow in a
music video. So this will give
me an idea of the type of video
and that people will like a story
aspect in my music video.
MIXTURE OF TYPES OF VIDEO
But this shows that 10
people or 50% of people
like to have a mixture of
performance, narrative and
concept within a music
video. This shows that
people like a mixture of the
types of video so like a lot
going into a music video
with several different
aspects in a video. So
again this will influence the
type of video I will produce
with maybe performance
and concept.
MUSIC VIDEO GENRE

This shows that the most popular
music genre was rock with a 42.86%
of the people or 6 people saying it is
their favourite genre. Whereas hiphop, opera , and reggae are the least
favourite with no likes. With a small
minority of people liking pop and
R&B. But this isn’t my genre of the
music in my video as it is alternative.
MUSIC VIDEO LOCATION
This shows that the most popular
location for the music video is in urban
areas and the least is with a virtual
green screen so they like to see real
things happening with real settings and
people. As this was taking in a rural
area tis gives the impression that the
people like to use videos as escape as
they want a video to be the opposite of
where they live in urban/ city areas.
This will give me a sort of area to place
my music video in a more urban area.
CONSUMPTION OF MUSIC
The ways in which people consume
media are internet, phone, radio and
T.V. but some people only consume
media through the internet with
44.44%. And only one person
consumes media solely through their
phone. This means hat the majority of
people consume media texts over a
variety of areas not only in one way.
This will give me an idea to drop the
quality of my video to allow it to be
accessed over the internet.
