FELIPE MICHEL FONG DOMINGUEZ Software Engineer SKILLS • Certified in Microsoft exam “Testing Software Fundamentals 98-379” • C# (Microsoft Visual Studio 2013). • Ranorex (Automation Tool for websites, desktop applications, mobile applications) • Selenium (Automation tool for web pages) • BrowserStack (Cross browser testing tool which can be used with Selenium) • Load Impact (Stress tool for websites) PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE Gamma Partners Oct 2013 – To date • Programming in C# to create automated tests for sites and applications (Ranorex, Selenium). • Creating automated stress tests (Load Impact) • Manual tests of websites and mobile applications. • Creating test scripts. • Three years of experience working as QA I have been QA lead on many projects like Life Line Response, Master Lock, Hand2Mind, Scrubs and Beyond, Yolklive and also involved with some others for QA like Midas, Daigger, Field Trip Factory, Ravinia, Service Now, Giant Eagle and others. For Midas I have been testing the site and mobile applications. I created automated tests for both sites Midas and MyMidas which are being used every release. I have been managing the Analytics and grabbing important data to display it to the client and have records about our site (Google Analytics, Nihuo Web log Analyzer). I have been updating the promos for the site, adding coupons, removing competing offers, adding new sliders, testing new configurations. We won three Horizon's awards, 2 bronze wards and one silver. For Master Lock I created scripts to test the mobile applications (Android and iOS) interacting with the hardware which was the locks. I tested the Bluetooth connection with the phone and lock, the firmware updates and the different functionalities that the application has. We got the silver award on the category of security on the Edison Awards. For Field Trip Factory I was testing 2 different sites, FTF and Giant Eagle, including their admin side. We got the 19th annual Webby Award. I have been doing automated tests for Hand2Mind, Midas, Ravinia, Scrubs, ServiceNow, Yolk. Those automation tests are different for every project. Some tests include stress testing with hundreds of users getting into the website and doing different things. Other automated tests include cross-browser testing, mobile devices (phones, iPads, tablets), an email with a report, a video of the test done, scheduling tools to make the test run on certain times, etc. For other projects what I usually do is a test script that I will follow to make sure every case is tested inside the application, I log every bug that needs attention and verify it finishes its cycle. I write a plan for every release and make sure things stick to the plan. I keep records of every release and always offer the best quality possible.
Sytek Apr 2013 – Jul 2013 Develop, support and computer maintenance for different companies (Visual Basic, C#). Different companies required small upgrades for their systems and I had to understand what the code was doing and change quickly to a different project. There were also projects from scratch on the company which I was involved in testing and creating tutorials of it. Mynt Dec 2012 – Apr 2013 Database management and login functionality with Facebook (Visual Basic, MySQL). This was a web page in which the log in with Facebook was grabbing all their personal information from Facebook like pictures, birth date, name, etc, and saving all that into a database. Government (On the area Fomento Social) Jun 2012 – Dec 2012 (Internships) Designing and developing the database and forms to unify data inside some areas of the government including Chihuahua and Juarez (PHP, MySQL). Many dependencies only had their information on Excel forms or paper, so we created forms (Using Dreamweaver) to help them insert information into the database and having their records in a more formal and ordered way.
