Project Mission Mission: Using the power of educational technology and partnerships to empower students to solve world wide problems. Vision: Provide a space for students to network in service-based research projects and change the world hand to hand, heart to heart. Goals: a) Inspire student scientific research. b) Increase technological literacy. c) Use available online resources. d) Establish global networking for research. e) Empower students to solve global problems.  
Timeline Step 1:  Get Students on Edmodo and develop skills- 1st and 2nd weeks of school Step 2:  Build mentor network: invite scientists to join project - on going Step 3:  Create Wiki- with brainstorming area, framework for student collaboration and resources.  Invite students in October Step 4:  Beginning of collaboration
Generic Project Model        *   Model Research skills      *   Identify Issues/problems  locally      *   Develop technological research, communication, and                                      presentation skills      *   Find Partners/ locations / refine needs     *   Research /Collaborate Cycle (data driven)     *   Propose Solution     *   Refine     *   Implement ideas     *   Refine for the future     *   Publish/Communicate     *   Plant the seed somewhere else
