Creation of Mecca main base map to secure powerful work frame for all
departments of the Holy Mecca Municipality by Using the most modern
technologies to maintain and manipulate data sharing between the departments
of the municipality and also on the intergovernmental scale and ministries.
The Job responsibilities :
• Making and sharing in a propagation programs for introducing and
identifying the SDI projects and its benefits for the Municipality departments
and their employees and that’s done :
 by making workshops for every 100 employees for discussing the main
concepts and benefits of the GIS Geographic information systems and the
SDI database.
 Explaning a clarifying to the employee how to using database in their
work frame
 Get impressions from the users about usability SDI database in their
work.
 Extracting the impression of the users about using the database in their
own work frame .
• Using the ARCCATALOUGE program to create data model and schemas
for SDI feature classes such as (Street centerline , billboards , mobile towers,
sewage , water pipeline and telephone land cables ).
• On- job assistance for the employee during their working on the real data
after the courses ended to make sure that every employee became qualified to
use the ARCGIS program and SDI database .
• Supevision entry , manipulating and maintaining the data to assuring the data
validity for using as SDI data .
• Also working on the data quality control to make sure of the data validity
and quality before using as SDI data .
• Creating smart models by using ARCGIS program and its tools to automize
many of the geoprocesses wich used to help SDI data entry users for doing their
tasks with the minimum efforts and time .
• Working as one of the municipality's committees to studying the technical
offers issued by the GIS contractors for working under the municipality's SDI
program and selecting the suitable contract .
• Working as one of the municipality quality assurance team assuring if the
data collected by the GIS municiplate's contractors are valid or not and if it's
not identical with the SDI database schema issuing a technical reports to the top
management about the extend of the competence for this contractor.
• Hold training courses for all the municipalit's employee in every department
explaining how to use the ARCGIS program in editing & processing data.
2) Since November 2013 to November 2014 :-

AS GIS specialist in The Egyptian Central Agency For Public Mobilization
And Statistics (C.A.P.M.A.S) and during this period worked on two projects :-
I- The national project for extending the fiber optics cables to the broad band
internet at the republic for the account of National Telecomunications
Regulatory Authority(N.T.R.A).
• Detrmine the most important and vivid buildings like (Schools ,Hospitals,
Ministries, Governmental Buildings, Police Stations And Post Offices,…… etc)
on a digitals maps by ARC 10.2 program to all the Egyptian's governerates .
• Collecting data and maps from many different programs like (Autocade,
Excel,Acess,SQl, Google Earth,) which found in many extensions like (KML,
DWG, Shapefiles) and create a feature class from it using ARC GIS 10.2 and
putting it in a geo-database and adjust all of this data to be matching with the
main database schema to serve the project's aims.
• Re-Specifying the building's data according to the Egyptian's governamental
refrences and suring that its data schemas are comply and fit with the project's
main database schema.
• Stake out the building's coordinates which were not existing before in the
main Project's database.
• Create the streets networks which leading to this buildings.
II- The project for creating the republic geodatabase for the census of 2016.
• Create a geo-database for every of the republic's village , design the united
project's schemas , Loading CAD data files which obtained from the Egyptian
General Survey Authority and Re-define its projection from GCS_Egypt_1907
to be Utm_Wgs_1984.
• Updating the following layers (Streets,Buildings,Water Polygons) using
GEOEYE imagry with a spatial resluotion half meter by using the footprint
method to each building.

METRO NETWORK IN CAIRO UP TO 2030
THE PROJECT TARGETS:
• Make a geodatabase for six the metro lines in cairo up to 2030 the current three lines & the
another three future new lines also the new two lines of the super tram that planed to
construct in the great cairo region before the year 2030.
• Make a model to find the closest three station from a location detrmined by the user
(closest facility).
• Make a model to define the service area of every station on the network with a maximum
range 500 meters to show the weak service area of the stations (service area).
• Make a model to choose the best locations to construct the stations of the metro fifth line.
• Make a model to choose the best location to construct the work shop of the metro sixth
line.
• Also some statistical analysis with arcgis 10 had been made like (average nearest
neighbour,central feature,directional distribution,standard distance) on the lines network.
