The Well-Architected Framework is designed to provide you with high-level guidance and best practices to help you build and maintain secure, reliable, performant, cost optimized, and operationally excellent applications in the AWS Cloud.

All rights reserved. 5 Pillars of Well Architected Operational Excellence: Run and monitor systems to deliver business value and to continually improve supporting processes and procedures. Security: Protect information, systems, and assets while delivering business value through risk assessments and mitigation strategies. Reliability: Recover from infrastructure or service failures, dynamically acquire computing resources to meet demand, and mitigate disruptions such as misconfigurations or transient network issues. Performance Efficiency: Use computing resources efficiently to meet system requirements, and to maintain that efficiency as demand changes and technologies evolve. Cost Optimization: Avoid or eliminate unneeded cost or suboptimal resources.

Post Review – Remediation • Create a Well-Architected Culture in your organization • Fix any Needs Attention or Critical issue found during the review • Critical - should be fixed in <1 month • Needs Attention - should be fixed in 1-3 months • Conduct a follow up review in 3 to 6 months, depending on how often the environment changes

Uturn is one of those Partners in the Chicago Area. WE WILL TOUCH ON WELL ARCHITECTED REVIEWS IN A COUPLE MINUTES
- By completing reviews on a semi-regular basis, you can compare your architecture to a sensible baseline and call for further action as needed.
- Develop an internal process to review new services announcements and enhancements and disseminate to your teams Automate, automate, automate! Consider game days to validate your designs, make it fun!
