Flash is a multimedia software used to create animations, games, and interactive content for websites. It allows developers to build resizable and compact interfaces. Flash files have the .swf extension and were first introduced in 1996 to add interactivity and animation to web pages. Flash technology is used by both the Adobe Flash Player for viewing content and Adobe Flash Professional for authoring multimedia applications.
