PLM Reporting Bundle Currently Energy post ship data and other related data are housed in 90+ different types of sources and it is tough for the user to query these unrelated data present in different sources and generate report. Hence there was a business need to consolidate this data create a warehouse. PLM Reporting bundle pulls the data from these scattered sources. This acts as a one stop for any energy post ship data. New table integration was done by me. We are taking data from various sources like flat files and databases. It follows steps of project life cycles .It is one of the critical project as many users are depending on it. Contribution • Involved in requirements gathering, functional/technical specification, Designing and development of end-to-end ETL process for PLM Data Warehouse. • Was involved in analysis and design of new integration for PLMR • Created Complex mappings using Unconnected, Lookup, and Aggregate and Router transformations for populating target table in efficient manner. • Created Mapplets, reusable transformations and used them in different mappings. • Created Workflows and used various tasks like Email, Event-wait and Event-raise, Timer, Scheduler, Control, Decision, Session in the workflow manager. • Made use of Post-Session success and Post-Session failure commands in the Session task to execute scripts needed for clean-up and update purposes. • Developed Informatica mappings and also tuned them for better performance • Used pushdown optimization in both source and target side. • Prepared ETL mapping Documents for every mapping and Data Migration document for smooth transfer of project from development to testing environment and then to production environment. • Involved in Unit testing, System testing to check whether the data loads into target are accurate, which was extracted from different source systems according to the user requirements. • Worked with reporting team to help understand them the user requirements on the reports and the measures on them. Those entire folders are there in GE support central. Those data includes all incidents, change task, file details, project name, owner name, size of file etc. So there was a need to store all that into a table in oracle. So that user can able to get the reports of various business requirements from that table. Those data are extracted by a java scripts and it will generate a file. We are getting that file and processing that through informatica and loading it into oracle table. By accessing that table reporting team is building reports.
