 Bluetooth Controlled Electronic Home Application project is a EC based working project.
By this project we can control different electrical appliances and electronic devices using an Android device
with the help of Bluetooth Technology.
Traditionally manually electrical Operating conventional wall switches are difficult for physically handicapped
or elder people.
 This project provides the solution to this problem by integrating all the electrical appliances to a control unit
that can be operated by an Android application on a device.
The proposed system controls the electrical loads based on the data transmitted by the Android device.
 An Android application should be installed in user’s mobile or tablet to control the electrical loads. Using this
Android application user can send the commands to the Bluetooth module to control the electrical loads.
 Wireless technology used in this project is Bluetooth. It can also be called as “Android based Home
Automation System
1) Arduino Nano 2) IC 7805 :
7805 is a three terminal linear voltage
regulator IC with a fixed output voltage of 5V
which is useful in a wide range of applications.
 Currently, the 7805 Voltage Regulator IC is
manufactured by Texas Instruments, ON
Semiconductor, STMicroelectronics, Diodes
incorporated, Infineon Technologies, etc.
The Arduino Nano is a
compact board similar to
UNO. It has more or less
the same function of the
Arduino Duemilanove but in
a different project
3) Relay: 4) Bluetooth Module:
 A relay is an electromagnetic
switch that is used to turn on
and turn off a circuit by a low
power signal, or where several
circuits must be controlled by
one signal.
The Bluetooth module is a MASTER/SLAVE
module.
By default the factory setting is SLAVE.
The Role of the module (Master or Slave) can
be configured only by AT COMMANDS.
The slave modules cannot initiate a
connection to another Bluetooth device, but can
accept connections.
5) Capacitor:
The capacitor is a component
which has the ability or
“capacity” to store energy in the
form of an electrical charge
producing a potential difference
across its plates, much like a
small rechargeable battery.

application and joined along with electrical switch board and

per requirement.
