Title: RCU Cards Client: RCU, Australia
Team size: 60 Duration: Dec 12 – till date RCU
Credit Cards Account
Platform: Mainframe, Webservices, .Net online screens
Key Result Areas:
• Program managing the below four projects in RCU with a combined team strength of 64 and 2.4 million $ portfolio
• Migrated mid-range maintenance and prod support from onsite. The applications perform the issuing functionality
for the prepaid, reward and multicurrency prepaid cards. The system consists of technologies included Web-
services, Informatics, PL/SQL.
• Migrated mainframe maintenance and prod support of issuing and acquiring applications for credit cards. Did
technical analysis of the scope of migration and suggested migration plan and executed the migration plan.
Technologies included COBOL, VSAM, CICS, CA7, JCL. The project includes developments for compliance and other
releases and 24*7 production support
• Migrated testing project from onshore to offshore. The team performs functional testing for all releases including
compliance release. Scope includes Functional Testing, Regression Testing and Certification Testing. Suggested
automation of regression cases and most of the regression cases are run by automated scripts, thereby increasing
the test execution productivity
• Implemented several productivity initiatives in the mainframe batch execution project which was existing already.
• Rolled over the process of agile model in mainframe and mid-range projects to cater to client needs of faster go-to-
market business requirements

• Managed a midsize bank from one card processor to another cards processor.
• Both acquiring and issuing processing were migrated to the new cards processor. The project scope included:
o Customization of the processing application
o Migration of the card holder and merchant data
o Functional Testing on the issuing and acquiring functionalities on the migrated data for the migrated bank
o Regression Testing of the Card and Merchant functionalities for the bank already residing in the card
processor
• Provided cards functional training and mainframe technical training to the resources during team building stage
• Managed the project right from team formation, Knowledge transition, Training, Project Planning and Execution of
plan till implementation. Earned accolades for seamless production implementation of the system
