The document describes Ganesh Gunnala's personal portfolio website and the technologies used to design it. It includes HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Bootstrap, jQuery, and HTTP protocols. It also discusses responsive web design using CSS media queries to optimize layouts for different devices. The author learned HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, JavaScript, jQuery, plugins, databases, and APIs to independently build websites through ImbueDesk training.
2. Technologies used in designing my website
• Google chrome browser
• HTML (Hyper Text Markup Language)
• CSS (Cascading Style Sheet)
• JavaScript Programming Language
• Bootstrap Framework
• jQuery Library
• HTTP Protocols
3. Responsive Web Design
• My website is based on the Responsive Web Design rather
• than the conventional Adaptive design used by most
of the pages.
• Responsive design has been all the rage since the term was coined
by Ethan Marcotte back in 2010. Three years later it’s become
modern web design to the extent that the majority of our
client projects are now designed and built with some level of
responsiveness in mind. The principle behind responsive design
is fairly simple: CSS3 media queries can be used to target
device properties such as screen resolution and CSS
rules can then be applied to optimise the layout for that device.
6. What did I learn?
• I have learned HTML right from the basics.
• The next steps were learning CSS and Bootstrap.
• Next on the list was JavaScript and jQuery.
• I have also learned about the plugins, the databases and the APIs required
to build a website.
• The whole course of Imbuedesk is such a way that we start right from
the scratch and learn building our own websites independently.
