AS http://www.rollingston e.com/ On this website, I analy sed the music section which shows rev iews, ideas and examples of music magazines and publication which I could harbour ideas f rom in order to incorporate them into my magazine and get ideas f rom. This website allowed me to capture ideas and thoughts of how my publication should roughly look in comparison to prof essionally done magazines and media publications. I took ideas f rom the articles I saw on this website and incorporated some of them into my own giv ing my work a more prof essional and neater touch Personally I think the ideas that I got f rom the website helped me greatly into shaping and planning roughly what my production would be and look like https://images.google .com/?gws_rd=ssl I used Google images in order to get an idea and inspiration on what I would roughly base my magazine on by looking at other articles similar to mine By looking at Google images I looked at v arious other publications similar to the one I was going to create and got ideas f rom to get an idea of what mine should look like. Although I f ound it f airly easy to f ind front cover articles, f inding double page spreads and f eature pages were slightly harder and were less apparent. AS Microsoft Word I used ‘Page lay out’ in Microsof t Word to help me div ide my f eature article into columns to add to my double page spread It helped me write essay s, rev iews, articles and to analy se v arious media publications f or my blog Yes it was successf ul as without it I wouldn’t of been able to produce the documents and article f or my blog -I think that I need to develop my Photoshop skills more extensively -I Photoshop In Photoshop I used the ‘Magic Wand’ tool which allowed me to select an image and crop it and then paste it onto another selected background of my choice This tool helped me greatly when producing my work as without it I wouldn’t of been able to cut and paste my artists’ picture onto the backgrounds f or my v arious pages on my f ront cov er, f eature article and double page spread. Photoshop was essential f or all my productions as without it I wouldn’t of been able to produce my work Camera I adjusted the lens on the camera in order to use the zoom f ocus tool allowing me to get the correct f rame size f or my picture By using the f ocus on the lens on the camera let me take the desired pictures f or my article in the correct sty le, size and colour The camera was also an essential piece of equipment as without this I wouldn’t of been able to produce my work Post-Production Coursew ork Programme/Softw are/H ardw are/Website Specific features or tools in Programme/Softw are/Hardw are How did it contribute to the development of your coursew ork? AS www.Sideshare.com Here on slide share I used the upload f eature in order to then copy and paste the embedded code so that it was useable f or blogger Slide share contributed greatly to the dev elopment of my production as it let me upload content onto my blog on blogger showing the examiner my dev elopment of my production and how I’v e changed and edited it f or it to become my f inal peace and make it better.
