This document defines the target audience for the horror film "REDRUM MURDER". The primary audience would be cinephiles aged 12-35 who enjoy horror franchises like Friday the 13th and Scream. Within this age range, the audience would mostly consist of male students and working professionals in their 20s-35s who can afford to see films. These groups would easily identify with the teenage cast and be hardcore fans wanting to see the film as soon as possible. Overall, the film has a mass audience between the ages of 12-35.

Defining my audiences: The audience REDRUM MURDER is all cinephiles of the horror genre who like films like Friday the 13th, and the scream franchise.The demographics for my film is people aged between 12- 35, but mostly a male audience because this is the stereotypical audience for horrors. This age bracket would involve students in group E people who can afford it even though not in work. Also they are the age group where they feel it is important to be the first in the know about anything so if they are the first to see a film they think they are better than anyone else and tell all their friends to watch. The fact that the cast of the film are all teenagers so the audience in the group E would find it easier to identify with the characters .Alsothepeople aged between 20- 35 in group C1, C2 and D people who are earning money to afford to see the film in the cinema. Also they would have been a fan of the genre for many years so would be more of a hard-core fan so would try to see the film as soon as possible. Although other people outside this age bracket may like this horror film and the genre, but most people between the age brackets would watch this film. This film has a rather large target audience so would be defined as a mass audience.
