Autonomic computing refers to
the self-managing characteristics
of distributed computing

The client–server model is a
distributed application structure
in computing that partitions tasks
or workloads between the
providers of a resource or

some critical, secure
applications in private
clouds. The not so
critical applications
are hosted in the
public cloud.
• The combination is
known as Hybrid
Cloud.

the organizations of
the same
community.

Advantages:• Can be less expensive compared to buying
software and hardware.
• Can be used from any computer or device with
an Internet connection.

• Compatible with most computers and operating
systems.
• Updates occur across the service.
