This document outlines an agenda and goals for a Tableau user group meeting in Cincinnati. The agenda includes introductions, a discussion of data structuring best practices in Tableau, and a review of new features in Tableau 9. The goals of the user group are to build knowledge of data visualization using Tableau, create a local community for sharing expertise, and have fun. Future events are discussed, including topics of interest, location, time, format, and looking for volunteers. Data design best practices for Tableau like having each row represent one data point are also covered.
** This workshop was conducted in the Hong Kong Open Source Conference 2017 ** Excel formulas can be quite slow when you're processing data files with thousands of rows. It's also especially difficult to maintain the files when you have some messy mixture of VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables, Macros and VBAs. In this interactive workshop targeted for non-coders, we will make use of SQLite, a very lightweight and portable open source database library, to perform some simple and repeatable data analysis on large datasets that are publicly available. We will also explore what you can further do with the data by using some powerful extensions of SQLite. While SQLite may not totally replace Excel in many ways, after the workshop you will find that it can improve your work efficiency and make your life much easier in so many use cases! Who should attend this workshop? - If you're frustrated with the slow performance of Excel formulas when dealing with large datasets in your daily work - No coding experience is required
Business Intelligence (BI) and analytics have become critical processes for organizations seeking to remain competitive and make insightful decisions in today's data-driven world.
The document is an internship report submitted by Salman Khan detailing his 1 month internship at Teradata. Following best practices can help ensure your success. This is especially true for Force.com applications or large Salesforce orgs that have the potential to push platform limits. Salesforce allows you to easily scale up from small to large amounts of data. Mostly this is seamless, but as data sets get larger, the time required for certain operations may grow too. Join us to learn different ways of designing and configuring data structures and planning a deployment process to significantly reduce deployment times and achieve operational efficiency. Watch this webinar to: Explore best practices for the design, implementation, and maintenance phases of your app's lifecycle. Learn how seemingly unrelated components can affect one another and determine the ultimate scalability of your app. See live demos that illustrate innovative solutions to tough challenges, including the integration of an external data warehouse using Force.com Canvas. Walk away with practical tips for putting best practices into action.
The document discusses advanced analytics capabilities in Tableau. It summarizes that Tableau allows both technical and non-technical users to perform advanced analytics tasks like segmentation, cohort analysis, scenario analysis, sophisticated calculations, time series analysis, and predictive analysis without requiring programming. It provides intuitive interfaces and drag-and-drop functionality for these advanced tasks. Tableau's calculation language also allows power users to build complex expressions and manipulate result sets.

Tableau is a Business Intelligence tool for visually analyzing the data. Users can create and distribute an interactive and shareable dashboard, which depict the trends, variations, and density of the data in the form of graphs and charts. Tableau can connect to files, relational and Big Data sources to acquire and process data. The software allows data blending and real-time collaboration, which makes it very unique. It is used by businesses, academic researchers, and many government organizations for visual data analysis. It is also positioned as a leader Business Intelligence and Analytics Platform in Gartner Magic Quadrant. #tableauslideshare #tableaux #tableaudeco #tableaudemariage #tableaupersonnalisé #portableaudio #tableauabstrait #tableaumariage #tableauvivant #tableausoftware #tableauxanciens #tableaudecoratif #tableauxvivants #tableaunoir #tableauancien #tableauvegetal #tableauxdécoratifs #tableauacrylique #tableaumoderne #tableaucontemporain #tableaudesign #tableauxmodernes #tableaudebord #adoptableauction #tableauelectrique #tableauxabstraits #restaurationdetableaux #tableau_bylu #tableauart #tableauavendre #tableautaubate . . .
