Front-end	Engineering	Teacher	Assistance	
● Assistance	in	implementing	the	front-end	logic	that	defines	the	behavior	of	the	visual	elements	of	a	
web	application	connecting	with	the	services	that	reside	on	the	back-end	(REST	APIs).		
● Working	with	AngularJS,	and	many	of	it’s	dependencies,	to	help	the	front-end	students	build	a	usable	
and	presentable	web	application	for	industry	and	personal	use.	
● Work	alongside	front-end	students	in	markup	and	styling	of	their	final	project.

● Maintain	and	improve	organizational	support	systems	by	working	on	pre-existing	technologies	to	
enhance	the	needs	of	modern	medicine.	
● Working	with	D3JS	(Data	Driven	Documents),	and	SVG	technologies	to	improve	UI	for	the	physicians	
using	our	software.	
● Using	Physionet’s	database	to	produce	annotatable	graphs,	for	post-graduate/doctoral	researchers,	to	
accurately	come	to	a	decisive	conclusion	to	their	experiments.	
● Built	a	simple	template	server-side	Node	server	stacked	with	MongoDB	and	Express,	for	easy	setup	
with	future	projects.

Front-end	Engineering	Student	
● Worked	in	five	group	projects,	building	CRUD	applications,	as	well	as	single	page	applications	pulling	
from	various	APIs.	
● Used	a	mockup	created	by	an	Iron	Yard	designer,	and	created	a	pixel	perfect,	static	web	page	using	
HTML	and	CSS	(SASS).	
● Built	an	alpha	version	of	a	personal	web	application	called	CONVOY,	using	AngularJS	and	many	of	its	
various	dependencies	such	as	UI-Router;	UI-Calendar(FullCalendar);	Google	Maps;	Leaflet	Maps;	
Angular	Material;	and	many	more	minor	dependencies.	
● Built	an	interactive	picture	application	called	DCRYPTr,	using	Backbone.js,	and	JavaScript	libraries	such	
as	Underscore.js	and	jQuery.		We	also	used	Handlebars.js,	a	DOM	manipulation	tempting	expression	
service,	as	well	as	SASS.	
● Participated	in	a	Hack-a-thon,	hosted	by	The	Iron	Yard	Atlanta	and	sponsored	by	SolTech.	Created	a	
minimal	bar/pub	crawling	application	called	Local	Buzz,	using	AngularJS	and	many	of	its	various
dependencies	such	as	Angular-Router;	Angular-Cookies;	and	Angular	Google	Maps	alongside	with	
Leaflet	Maps.	We	also	used	JavaScript	libraries	such	as	jQuery	and	Lodash.js.		
United	States	Army/	Reserves	|	Combat	Medic	and	Squad	Leader	 	 	 	Dec	2006	–	Dec	2015	
● Six	years	active	duty	excluding	training	and	Basic	Combat	Training.	Trained	Combat	Medic	as	primary	
MOS	(job	title),	and	cross-trained	Cargo	Specialist.	
● Responsible	for	daily	sick	call	and	soldier	health	management.	Other	duties	include	generating	and	
reporting	general	assignment	for	other	Combat	Medics	under	my	supervision.	Produce	weekly	provider	
follow	up	reports.	
● Supervised	logistical	operations	under	Surface	Deployment	and	Distribution	Command’s	supervision	
during	Operation	Iraqi	Freedom	and	Operation	Enduring	Freedom.
