• Managed Outsourcing
Why outsourcing?

• Grow your team quickly and flexibly
• Add missing skills to your inhouse team
• Provide cover for employees who are on holiday
• Work on more projects and increase your profit margin
• Reduce the workload on your and your key developers
allowing your core to focus on the important stuff
• Reduce your development costs by more than 40%
What is “managed” outsourcing?

• Project managers and architects based in Gent, Belgie,
  take care of:
   – Communication
   – People management
   – Planning and follow-up

• Experienced developers take care of the code (we only
  employ senior developers!)
• You profit from the flexibility and cost effectiveness that
outsourcing can bring but avoid the potential problems of
  working remotely
Why near-shoring?
• We only work with partners in:
    – St Petersburg, Russia
    – Kiev, Ukraine
• Advantages of this region:
    – The salary expectations for senior, experienced developers are much
      lower than in Europe
    – The time difference and travel time (it’s important to visit your remote
team!) are negligible when compared to, e.g., India or China
    – All our developers speak English
    – Retention is very high
• Our near-shore team is made up of senior developers with:
    – Univeristy education and at least 5 years experience
    – Experience of working remotely for companies such as Deutsche Bank,
Borland, EMC, Altosoft, Eitzen Group, Saxo Bank, …
Project Management
• We believe the best way to work is with good functional specifications
combined with accurate planning and detailed testing.
• We use the following methods:
     – Agile-methodology
     – Detailed functional specifications that have been approved by the customer
       before we begin work
     – Daily scrum meetings with our development team
     – All changes and development are done on our test servers and all code is
available to our customers via our online version control system.
     – Finished work is only transferred to live servers following customer
       acceptance testing and approval
Intellectual Property and Confidentiality
• We never use the names of our customers in marketing unless we
    have your explicit approval
• We never include our own brand names or logos in any delivered
work unless we have your explicit approval
• Everything that we produce during a project is considered as
“work for hire” and is your property at all times
• We never re-use code between projects
• All project source code, backups and other materials are kept in
    separate, project-specific accounts
