Adam Nayman The Ringer H.P. Lovecraft's Cthulhu mythos has long been one of King's guiding influences, and Frank Darabont's adaptation of The Mist honors that relationship while also working as a 21st-century political parable. Rated: 3/4 Feb 15, 2023 Full Review Stephanie Archer Film Inquiry Nuanced and deeply layered, The Mist proves itself not only to be a well-crafted horror but an example of the true power of adaptations. Dec 10, 2022 Full Review Kristy Strouse Wonderfully Weird and Horrifying Overall, The Mist is a terrifying example of fantastical nightmares coming to life, and the human monsters that crisis can make of us. The acting is on point and the design is a spooky delight. The end will have you screaming. Oct 4, 2022 Full Review Read all reviews

Ida A Gut wrenching ending. Reminder to us all, wait literally like ten minutes… Rated 4 out of 5 stars 06/20/24 Full Review Sara N So so incredibly disappointed I usually dont watch horror movies but I gave this one a chance. It actually wasnt even too bad in the beginning. But the ending? Wow What is the point, why have them all die? The only ones anyway who seemed to still think rationally, unlike the other fanatic people. Watching this movie was a pure waste of time, I do not recommend it. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 06/18/24 Full Review Audience Member I can imagine what's going on inside the director head "okay now that 99% of the movie are done, how are we going to conclude the movie ending?" and everybody was like "yes". Rated 1 out of 5 stars 06/16/24 Full Review Kalin D The ending *ruins* this movie :(. Otherwise quite interesting and hopeful. The nihilistic ending really does not fit. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 06/15/24 Full Review Rhiannon D Very good film. Would recommend. Also the sfx is brilliant. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 06/02/24 Full Review Dave E Great movie! Acting was good with an engaging plot. Some subpar CGI. One of the best King adaptations. Some tough truths, like how people react when hopeless & scared.
