Community Cleanup Programs

New this year, the Eagles and The Bellwether District teamed up to launch the "Touchdowns for Sustainability" program. In total, $75,000 was awarded to environmental nonprofits in the Philadelphia area.

With the help of partners and fans, the Philadelphia Eagles have been able to develop a multi-operational action plan that incorporates green energy production, recycling and composting, reforestation, ocean conservation, emission reduction, and energy efficiency.
The Eagles, who wear the color "green" with pride, are committed to serving as proud environmental stewards for the community that gives so much to them throughout the year.

The Eagles joined Anheuser-Busch's National Recycling League – a multi-sports league coalition aiming to reduce waste on gamedays – by installing two Cycle Reverse Vending Machines (RVMs) at Lincoln Financial Field. The installation made Lincoln Financial Field the first NFL stadium to utilize the machines, which are designed for beverage container recycling.

Water Conservation

Since 2015, the Eagles have eliminated the use of more than one million plastic water bottles with the installation of water filtration fountains at the team's facilities. In addition, the installation of simultaneous flush urinals throughout Lincoln Financial Field saved more than 5,000 gallons of water per event during the 2023 season.

Eagles Team Travel

In 2023, with the help of The Ocean Foundation and Ocean Conservancy, the Eagles offset 100% of their team travel carbon emissions through seagrass and mangrove restoration in Puerto Rico's Jobos Bay National Estuarine Research Reserve. The Eagles are the first U.S. professional sports team to offset team travel through the support of the Ocean Conservancy's Blue Playbook.
