Farage has never managed to win a seat at a General Election to become an MP but nevertheless has exerted strong influence on British politics. The relative electoral success of UKIP has been credited with pressuring the then-Prime Minister David Cameron to commit to holding a referendum on EU membership in the Conservative Party's 2015 General Election manifesto.
Farage now presents a show on GB News and is rumoured to be competing in the 2023 series of ITV's I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here!
