She was born on July 12, 1966, in Farnborough, Kent, England. Annabel Croft achieved recognition primarily for her tennis career during the 1980s.
Croft turned professional in 1982 and had a successful career as a tennis player. She reached her highest singles ranking of World No. 24 in 1985. Although she did not win any Grand Slam singles titles, she did have some notable successes in both singles and doubles events on the WTA Tour.
