Taylor Swift is more than halfway through her UK Eras Tour shows for June, with the hitmaker taking the stage in Cardiff on Tuesday night.

The 34-year-old hitmaker, who is likely the most famous woman in the world right now, brought her Eras Tour to Cardiff's Principality Stadium for one night only on June 18th, ahead of her trio of London shows later this week. This comes after a string of stunning performances in Edinburgh and Liverpool.

Earlier this month, Taylor stormed the stage at Murrayfield Stadium in the Scottish capital, with her then moving down the country slightly to thrill Scouse fans at Anfield in Liverpool. And now it’s finally time for Welsh Swifties to witness the three-hour phenomenon of the hitmaker’s sold-out show.

Not a negative word was in sight as fans loved the energy she brought to the stage. One fan said: "Taylor Swift is a machine. The Eras Tour is utterly phenomenal, and I can't imagine the effort put into it. I had a wonderful time. My best friend got the surprise song she wanted. The crowd were wild. It was so beautiful in the dark; every light a life."

Taylor went ahead and actually gave Evermore some respect.

The album is joked to be her "least favourite child," as fans tend to claim she never shows it any appreciation. It was released as the sister album to Folklore with many beleiveing it was overshadowed by the first album's success. Taylor spent less promotional time on the album. On the first leg of the tour, in America, Taylor would acknolwedge the way fans felt with a joke.

Ever since she started in Europe, she's avoided addressing the album directly. While she still enters the era with some songs, she typically avoids introducing it until now.

Taylor Swift pauses song to laugh as she seems to shade Joe Alwyn and Scooter Braun

Taylor Swift seemed to take a swipe at some of her foes, including Scooter Braun and former flame Joe Alwyn, during her Eras Tour stop in Cardiff.

The pop sensation belted out a medley of beloved tracks - 'This Is Why We Can't Have Nice Things' and 'I Forgot That You Existed'. Mid-performance of the first song, Taylor let out an exaggerated laugh. The tune includes the line, "Here's to you because forgiveness is a nice thing to do."

Normally, a chuckle follows this lyric, but Taylor amped it up live, pausing for a dramatic laugh that was clearly more than just part of the act. Stepping back from the mic, she took a moment before delivering the scripted giggle, quipping, "Hahaha, I can't even say it with a straight face."

Taylor gives 22 hat away to mini-me fan

For this show's iconic moment where Taylor performs 22 and gives away her hat to a fan, Taylor and the fan were matching.

The young girl was wearing a similar shirt that Taylor wears during the Red Era portion of her tour. As Taylor knelt down to give the girl a hug and the hat, she motioned to her shirt, acknowledging that they matched.

She gave the girl multiple high fives and the fan was all smiles.

Fans gripe about livestream quality

Taylor Swift fans notoriously ban together in times of need.

When it comes to trying to watch the show, they work to make sure even those who aren't there can be a part of the action. Typically, fans will try to livestream the show for each other, mostly on TikTok. However, it looks like there are some technical difficulties or bad reception in the stadium tonight.

"The livestreams today are few and rough," a fan wrote. Another added: "I love how we only have one video rn and its from a live stream LMFAOOO (receptions bad in there unfortunately)."

Paramore's set is over and now fans are waiting for Taylor to start her iconic Eras Tour set.

This is her only show in Wales after she previously played multiple shows in Edinburgh and Liverpool. Taylor is also playing three shows in London later this week. She'll then play five more shows at Wembley in August.

Where is Taylor performing after Cardiff?

After her stint in Cardiff tonight, Taylor will then perform another trio of shows at London's Wembley Arena (June 21, 22, 23), before heading further afield throughout Europe. But Taylor won't stay away from UK soil for too long, with her due back in the capital for a further five sold-out shows (August 15, 16, 17, 19, 20).

Major setlist changes and possible outfit alteration in Wales

At the start of the European leg of the tour in May, the original setlist was officially scrapped, with a new running order unveiled in Paris. Some songs were cut, with an entire new section added after the release of The Tortured Poets Department.

The changes mean that the show currently has a running time of 3hrs 9mins, with some fan-favourite tracks dropped completely from the setlist since she started the new leg back in May. Fan favourites including The Archer, Tolerate It, The Last Great American Dynasty and The 1 were dropped in favour of new songs like The Smallest Man Who Ever Lives, I Can Do It With A Broken Heart, Fortnight and Down Bad.

But despite the setlist being jam-packed with songs and high-intensity choreography and dance moves, Taylor still feels the cold, with her rather vulnerable to the British weather at her recent gigs. After she performed the first night of the UK dates in Edinburgh earlier this month, she was forced to make a massive change to her TTPD outfit, with her donning some gloves with her custom Vivienne Westwood dress ever since. But will she wear them tonight in Wales?

No, it will not. Unlike Taylor's other shows in the United Kingdom, the hitmaker's Welsh show will have the roof closed at the Principality Stadium - which marks a massive change in how the show will pan out.

At all of Taylor's other shows in the UK, the rooves of venues were kept open - which meant the weather could wreak havoc, and that fireworks could go off at the end. But neither of these things will happen this evening in Cardiff.

As per the stadium's fan guide, which was unveiled last week, the Principality Stadium revealed that the roof would be closed.

Swifties jump to singer's defence as her dancing skills are brutally mocked

Swifties have been jumping to Taylor Swift's defence after she was cruelly mocked for her dancing while she rocked out in the instrumental break of Fearless in Edinburgh.

A clip from @harryalex98 on TikTok has gone viral of the singer shaking her hips at the Scottish Gas Murrayfield Stadium in Edinburgh during the instrumental break of her hit Fearless.

Resharing the clip of Taylor dancing in her gold Fearless dress on Twitter, now known as X, one person said: "The second hand embarrassment... how can you stan this."

But fans have since jumped to Taylor's defence, with one saying: "God forbid she has fun on her own tour. That she sold out. With the songs that she wrote. About her life. On her worldwide sold-out, record breaking, high demand tour. Yeah you’re right. She should probably just awkwardly stand there instead. That’s a good way to celebrate eras."

Another added: "The fact she’s not the best at dancing actually makes me stan her more and as a musician myself who eats up the stage every time but cannnot dance for sh-- I’ve never felt more validated actually."

Taylor fans anticipate Gavin and Stacey nod

During We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together, Taylor and her dancer, Kam, appear to give a hilarious nod to the city that they are in at the time.

In the hit from the 2012 album, Red, Taylor says: "Ugggh... so he calls me up and he's like, 'I still love you,' / And I'm like... 'I just... I mean this is exhausting, you know, like / We are never getting back together. Like, ever'."

But instead of the "Like, ever" at the end of the verse, her dancer Kam will say a line relating to the city they are in. For example, in Liverpool, he said "Eeee get on yer bike", and now fans are speculating what Kam might say in Cardiff tonight.

One fan shared a TikTok video of what they are predicting, with them thinking he might reference Nessa from Gavin and Stacey. Sharing the video on X, one fan said: "SCREAM. manifesting this for #CardiffTSTheErasTour this evening."

Someone else then begged: "PLEASE or literally any nessa/gavin and stacey reference/quote." While another said: "WE NEED A GAVIN AND STACEY REFERENCE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE."

Major change made to Taylor Swift's Cardiff show as fans buzz with excitement

As we reported earlier, there has been chatter that the roof of the Principality Stadium will be closed tonight for Taylor's gig - and this is correct, with it being announced in the stadium's fan guide last week.

The roof being closed means there will be no fireworks at the end of the show - and fans are rather divided.

But all is not lost, as many fans are rejoicing over the fact that they get to see the show in darkness, with them able to enjoy the visuals fully. One fan asked someone who posted about being in the queue: "is the roof gonna be shut? does that mean they'll be no fireworks or fire?" to which the original poster said: "Roof is closed. No fireworks. But show will be in the dark I think!!"

Other fans have also started to get excited amid the huge change, with one person taking to X, formerly known as Twitter, to say: "Omg the roof is gonna be closed it’s gonna be a dark show yessssss." Another said: "GUYS IM SO EXCITED THAT THE ROOF WILL BE CLOSED FOR CARDIFF." While a third penned: "learned that the roof will be closed for cardiff aka no bright ass sunlight during folkmore thank GOD."

But not everyone is excited, with some annoyed that there will be no fire or fireworks, and others warning Cardiff fans who didn't get tickets that due to the roof being closed, they won't be able to hear anything if they gather outside the venue.

One person said: "i’m so sad cardiff aren’t gonna get fireworks because the roof is closed." While a second said: "Good morning everyone Cardiff @principalitysta have confirmed that the roof for @taylorswift13 #erastourcardiff will be closed people who have got NO tickets will not hear anything as they will shut the roof."

Good morning, Swifties!

Today's the day! Taylor will soon storm the stage at Cardiff's Principality Stadium for one singular sold-out show.

Fans have already started to queue outside the stadium in order to secure the best spot in the standing sections.

And there is chatter that the roof of the stadium has been closed, meaning there will be no fireworks at the end of the show. But all is not lost, as many fans are rejoicing over the fact that they get to see the show in darkness, with them able to enjoy the visuals fully.
