At the heart of BCG's mission to tackle #ClimateChange and advance #sustainability efforts, is Tania Banerjee. As an Expert Project #Leader at our New Delhi office, Tania has always been driven to ignite a lasting green revolution for the benefit of future generations. 🌎 Tania’s commitment to promoting a greener world extends beyond environmental conservation; she is equally committed to fostering positive change in society. Utilizing expert strategies and tools from BCG, she is creating a relationship between people and the environment, a nexus where both can thrive and flourish side by side. “What attracted me to BCG was the strong vision at the firm's leadership level to make an incredible difference in the world by addressing climate change…I recognized that addressing climate change was not just an environmental imperative but also a crucial factor in improving the livelihoods of people and communities. This realization fueled my desire to work on projects that could have a tangible impact on the ground.” Leveraging her skillset in #architecture and #UrbanPlanning, Tania is key in helping clients create climate-resistant plans and put nature-based solutions into action. Guiding a team as diverse as the challenges they are addressing, she collaborates with both public and private organizations. From intern to Principal, Sitti Reyes has been at the heart of our #Manila office since its evolution. Beyond just witnessing its beginning, she has played a vital role in fostering the office's success and nurturing its learning culture. As a member of the BCG family since 2015, Sitti holds deep expertise in consumer goods, financial institutions, and TMT, specializing in digital transformation and cost efficiency. She applies her knowledge to aid the Manila office and significantly contributes to the broader development of the #Philippines. “When we opened the BCG Manila office, there were 5 team members and a room of 60 square meters…It is great to see that we have grown so much since then and have almost 50 passionate individuals in the BCG Philippines team today…Having spent most of my childhood in the Philippines and witnessing the presence of Philippine companies, it brings me satisfaction to realize that we play a role behind the scenes. At BCG, we enable clients to maximize their potential and this, hopefully helps enhance the experience of end consumers. I appreciate the impact of the work that we do, especially as a consumer myself.” Sitti is not only committed to enhancing the Manila office and her #community but also harbors admiration for BCG. What has anchored her at BCG are the constant opportunities for learning and personal growth. “The support for personal advancement comes alive in the people around me. At this year’s Women Parliamentarians Program (WPP) Study Trip to Washington, DC hosted by the Munich Security Conference, Boston Consulting Group (BCG) led a compelling roundtable on the persistent global gender gap and its exacerbation during the COVID-19 pandemic. The session highlighted the crucial role of workplace inclusion in closing these gaps, exploring the various challenges women face in both their personal and professional lives. Our discussions focused on how inclusion significantly impacts retention and employee engagement, supported by insights from BCG’s BLISS Index. #MSC #WPP #DiversityInPolitics #GlobalSecurity #BCGonPublicSector Learn more about BCG's BLISS Index and expertise on gender equality: https://on.bcg.com/4cIqwqx https://on.bcg.com/3VY1huK

📢 “If you can hear me, clap once!” 👏 Amidst classrooms chaos, it’s an effective call and response to corral students. Can the same be said for a stampede of clients with competing deadlines and priorities? Maybe not, but Nana makes it work. Before joining BCG as an Associate in the London office, Nana Balser taught science as part of the Teach First internship program. Through the firm’s partnership with Teach for All, Nana joined BCG full-time and has gotten to connect with the large network of teachers within the firm. She says the support she received from members of the network helped make for a smooth transition. Thankfully Nana saw a parallel between the skills it took to be a consultant and the skills she’d learned from teaching. “Problem solving skills of breaking down difficult concepts into simple ideas, verbal communication when sharing these ideas in an easy-to-understand way and being adaptable and proactive when responding to a challenging or varied circumstances.” When she’s not working through problems in the board room, she prioritizes spending time with friends and family or enjoying a Pilates class. Learn more about BCG’s partnership with Teach for All here: BCG’s Partnership with Teach For All
