Globally, demand for AI talent is surging and has doubled over the last year, as companies seek to maintain a competitive edge. 

To help professionals and employers thrive during these fast-changing times, we’ve been rolling out our own AI-powered enhancements, each designed to enable you to meet your aspirations by becoming more productive and successful. Several months ago, we introduced a reimagined LinkedIn with an AI-powered professional guide – your trusted coach, advisor, co-pilot, assistant, and colleague all in one. This guide was designed to help you prepare for your next play, tackle business questions, learn new critical skills, and attract more customers. Today, I’m thrilled to debut a suite of new experiences, including: 

Next-gen job search and application experience

Finding your next career opportunity can be overwhelming and time-consuming, often leaving you unsure of where to start or what to do next. Our new AI-powered job experience, which we started testing late last year with select Premium subscribers, showed strong results, with +90% finding it helpful in seamlessly assessing if a certain role is a good fit, identifying the best way to position themselves, or just learning more about the potential employer. Today, we’re bringing this experience to all Premium subscribers starting in English worldwide and we’re adding even more powerful enhancements based on your feedback:

• Explore careers with a new conversational job search: Navigate & find job opportunities effortlessly and faster by simply asking in plain language, such as, “Find me a remote marketing job in Detroit that pays at least $110,000.”
• Review your application & resume in seconds to stand out: Receive immediate feedback and personalized suggestions tailored to specific job posts, helping your application stand out to hiring managers.
• Cover letter assistance: Simplify your job search with personalized cover letter recommendations that you can review and edit, giving you valuable time back to focus on what matters, e.g. preparing for your interview.

Personalized learning for everyone

Whether you're looking to change or not, the skills required in the workplace are expected to change by 68% by 2030. Staying relevant in your current role or seeking new job opportunities means continuously learning new skills. At LinkedIn, we are committed to helping professionals navigate this unprecedented change. We are adding ~60 new courses each week on top of 22,000 LinkedIn Learning courses. Those include over 800 AI courses, such as how to build AI Literacy and advance your skills in deep learning (both free for over the next month). Additionally, we are launching new free courses to help members build cutting-edge technology skills, including those emerging in real-time, such as GPT-4o. We also want to help learners to develop skills faster and more effectively, so we’re introducing the following to our Premium subscribers, starting in English worldwide.

Expert advice, powered by AI: Imagine finding an expert in their field and having a one-to-one conversation on topics they specialize in like negotiation, well-being, or business strategy. While most professionals would love that kind of access to help them grow, not everyone has that opportunity. So, we’re beginning to pilot the ability to get personalized practical advice instantly from industry leading business leaders & coaches on LinkedIn Learning, all powered by AI. The responses you’ll receive are trained by experts and represent a blend of insights that are personalized to each learner’s unique needs. While human professional coaches remain invaluable, these tools provide a great starting point. Our initial pilot includes instructors like Alicia Reece, Anil Gupta, Dr Gemma Leigh Roberts, and Lisa Gates.

Personalized coaching, powered by AI, when watching a LinkedIn course: As learners —including all Premium subscribers — watch our courses, they can now simply ask for summaries of content, clarify certain topics, or get examples and other real-time insights, e.g. “Can you simplify this concept?” or “How does this apply to me?” 

Transforming professional knowledge discovery through search

Many professionals rely on LinkedIn search to guide them towards their goals. We’re rethinking the possibilities of search with generative AI, all with the goal to take the guesswork out of finding what you need and helping to make LinkedIn work better for you. With our new search capabilities, every search interaction becomes smarter -- whether you’re looking to find someone, explore jobs, conduct outreach, or seek knowledge and answers. AI is set to revolutionize our search capabilities, enabling you to explore the depth and breadth of any topic directly through LinkedIn search. Stay tuned as we roll out these exciting enhancements to our members in the coming weeks.

We’re also continuing to bring new enhancements to help businesses

Over the past year, we’ve reimagined LinkedIn with a focus on how AI can provide value across all our products for recruiters and learners, marketers and sellers. And we’re seeing that AI is delivering real business results for our customers.

Today I'm excited to share we’re expanding the availability of some of these features:

• Recruiter 2024: Since we began piloting our reimagined Recruiter product, hirers have shared that they’re finding quality candidates faster. Customers are getting 40% higher InMail acceptance rates from job seekers and responses from candidates are also 10% faster. Over the next few weeks, we'll make Recruiter 2024 globally available in English. 
• Expanded AI capabilities for marketers: Accelerate, our AI campaign creation and optimization offering, is delivering great results for advertisers with 52% lower cost per action. As we globally expand and enhance Accelerate, we’re adding new features. B2B marketers can now use Microsoft Designer for engaging creatives, import existing customer lead lists for improved targeting, and receive campaign creation advice from our new AI marketing assistant. 
• Premium Company Pages for small businesses. This offers easy ways for small businesses to accelerate their growth. They can use these Company Pages to increase awareness & followers, distinguish their business from competitors, and drive effective conversions with features like AI-guided messaging and custom CTA.

This is the continuation of our journey, where the power of AI can be put to work to help guide you through every career question and decision, assisting you as you grow in your career or accelerate your business.
