Kudos to our Tampa and Sanford team members for volunteering with Habitat for Humanity of East and Central Pasco County! Our teams installed doors, cabinets, and trim for three new homes, and hosted a lunch for Habitat Board Members, staff, and Mayor Melonie Monson of Zephyrhills. Exciting News! We're thrilled to announce that City of Zephyrhills' Hercules Park is now 50% complete. The 12-acre Hercules Park (38110 County Road 54) will feature walking and bicycle trails, a nature playground, picnic area, playfield, splash pad, and restrooms, making it a hub for community engagement, recreation, and natural beauty. Project completion is slated for December 2024. Thank you to Wharton-Smith, Inc. for making our vision come to life, and we can't wait for the #cityofzephyrhills community to jump right in to this beautiful new space.

Today, we hosted an appreciation luncheon for the subcontractors working on the City of Deland - Utilities Administration Building project! Everyone enjoyed a delicious lunch catered by Brian’s Bar-B-Que Restaurant & Catering. Custom made t-shirts to commemorate the occasion were also given out. Exciting news! Wharton-Smith has completed the Leesburg Pine Street & CDC Parking Lot, and we celebrated the grand opening this week! City Commissioner Allyson Berry remarked, “This new look for Pine Street symbolizes our commitment to the development and growth of Leesburg... Together, we are making Leesburg an even better place to live, work, and celebrate our heritage.” More than 14 small businesses have signed on to revitalize storefronts along the newly remodeled street. Structural steel and tilt wall installation are now underway, marking a significant milestone in this transformative project. Our North Florida team is dedicated to delivering a successful project to the St. Johns County School District and is eager for the future endeavors ahead in North Florida.
