Nominations for the fifth Australian Women in Music Awards are now open! AWMA is a prestigious event on the annual music industry calendar, recognising the vast contributions of women across the sector and shining a light on female First Nations and culturally diverse artists, artists with disabilities, technicians and music practitioners. We feel honoured to have been a part of the 2023 event, by sponsoring the AWMA Lifetime Achievement Award, which recognises the outstanding lifetime contribution of a female artist/s to the field of recording and/or live performance. Graeme Jack, Head of Bravado APAC, UMG's merchandising arm, recently spoke to Andrew McMillen, National Music Writer at The Australian. They discussed the rise in popularity of band t-shirts, and how they’ve become more accessible through Bravado providing a mix of designs and price points to major retailers across the country. What a night! Thank you to the ARIA - Australian Recording Industry Association for an epic evening of music and entertainment at the 2023 ARIA Awards. The night was filled with exceptional performances and well-deserved award winners! We had an incredible time celebrating the impressive talent and creativity of both the Australian and international music industry, and want to congratulate all nominees and winners, as well as everyone else within the industry, who contributes to making amazing music for audiences around the world.
