United States Marshals Service’s Post

Recently, the USMS Training Division, Southern District of Texas, and Western District of Texas competed in the Tap Cancer Out Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Open in Jacksonville, FL. Tap Cancer Out is a non-profit organization that is dedicated to raising funds to bringing us closer to a cure for cancer. Brazilian Jiu Jitsu concepts and techniques represent one of the foundational elements of the USMS Control Tactics program, which is taught to basic training candidates as well as operational employees in the field. #USMarshals #BeTheDifference

It's great to see the USMS incorporate BJJ into their combatives. And congratulations to all those you competed in the Tap Cancer Out event!

🔥 Congrats! BJJ Purple belt here. Tap Cancer Out is an awesome organization and a very organized event. Good to see US Marshals promoting the use of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu in its defensive control tactics program 👏🏼
