This past week, McKenzie Bauer, co-founder of Thread, came up with a big idea for the company. Inspired by the popularity of Taylor Swift, she decided to catch Taylor's attention through the Chiefs Kingdom. She ordered vintage Chiefs jackets, collaborated with local seamstresses, and created custom Thread + Chiefs bags. The hope was that Taylor, Travis, Pat, or Brittany Mahomes would wear them at some point leading up to the game on Sunday.
To stand out, our team created custom PR boxes with handwritten notes! Through our community, we connected with a stadium insider who assured us that the packages could be placed in the lockers of Travis and Pat if we got them there by Friday. To ensure timely delivery, Kenzie and Trevor Reese flew to Kansas City on Thursday night, and delivered the packages before the team left for Baltimore. The confirmation came as they were leaving – the boxes had been delivered to the lockers!
Although the bags haven't been spotted on the players or their partners yet, this experience is a significant win for Thread! We connected with a supportive community on social media, set ambitious goals, and demonstrated dedication to achieving them. It underscores the value of the journey, even if the original goal isn't immediately reached. (P.S. We're still holding out hope to get a bag in the hands of Taylor!)

3wI love the road runner and the sugaro with the old hotel sign, it's a very retro Route 66 vibe.
