Christian, a returning State Farm intern, provides insights into the internship program and highlights the benefits it offers young talent. "Growing up in Bloomington, IL, I always saw State Farm as a very successful company that prioritizes the well-being of its employees. Because of this, considering State Farm for an internship came very naturally." As an intern assigned to the State Farm Research and Development Center (RDC), Christian engages in innovative, meaningful research aimed at developing technical and business skills. "Throughout my internship, I gained knowledge in machine learning and natural language processing. I also acquired skills in web development, specifically using popular JavaScript library, REACT.js, and hosting websites on AWS." Christian appreciates the opportunities to interact with leadership and values being in an environment that recognizes his involvement, dedication, and passion. "Interning at State Farm means I get to work with people who value my contributions, time, and interests. I have attended many meetings where leaders have taken time to answer questions and give advice regarding career development. I love having the opportunity to collaborate with my peers in person, getting to know them and learning alongside them. Overall, I feel like my work is valued by both my team and State Farm as a whole." Join the Talent Neighborhood to learn more about upcoming internship opportunities. https://lnkd.in/gZCPaKeR

StateFarm has held me and my claim hostage. I was hit by a crazy driver insured by statefarm who hit my mecedes benz and tried to drive off, thankfully a Police Officer was there and caught him. I have the police report and got and estimate which was statefarm instructed me to do. Now I have been trying to get the money for the estimate and they only want to pay out 1/4 of the cost. What makes matters worse is I have spoken to a manger named Tony today who had the audacity to say your car doesnt need all those repairs and the I wont be able to get anything until they contact the guy who hit my car(who refuses to pick up the phone) even though there is a police report saying he did. I have been treated like crap.....worse. Then they try to low ball you after they tell you to get an estimate done. Its sickening and disgraceful I would not recommend this company to anyone. More so I am getting ready to call my lawyer/Progressive to persue this in court. I have been treated worse than trash by statefarm.
