Is the Department of Justice really paying attention or just suing every big technology company? Apple has a monopoly on the business it has built from scratch and created its own ecosystem. Maybe they charge too much for the App Store? But customers have a clear choice between the iPhone ecosystem and the Android ecosystem. https://lnkd.in/gyvuEy6M

Is Apple a monopoly? Hardly and the Department of Justice is doing us a disservice by suing them for being one.

My son, Stewart Alsop III runs a podcasting business called Crazy Wisdom. He's gotten so good at interviewing really smart people, he is starting to do private podcasts to help people understand their own business skills and leadership better! His first customer posted this about his experience with young(er) Stewart: https://lnkd.in/gHtvHA9r

Every month I do a private podcast with Stewart Alsop. He's a great interviewer and helps me make sense of all of the data I'm generating and trends that I'm noticing in my work, plugging AI into organizations, small and large. On Friday we covered a lot of ground, including: - how leaders under pressure can make good decisions when it comes to bringing the technology in-house; - why digital transformation isn't binary and organizations that reach their desired state may end up looking, may take on a hybrid structure; - how capabilities like rapid intelligence collection and analysis, which were only historically available to states and major corporations, are increasingly available to smaller organizations; - why it's absolutely critical that decision makers get hands-on with the tools; - hyper-individuation, unprecedentedly diverse career paths, and what that might mean for the future of knowledge work; - and finally, perhaps most interestingly, the things that WON'T change and how if things go right, AI may actually help us become more human. I'll try to turn some of these into posts over the next few weeks. Which topics are you most interested in? Let me know in the comments.

Meow Wolf. A movie theater. In LA, the birthplace of Disney. And the movie industry. Wow! Meow Wolf #Hollywood #immersive
Meow Wolf is coming to LA!! Our love for cinema has inspired us to open a movie theater in Los Angeles in 2026. The journey to this monumental moment has been incredible. Ups and downs, twists and turns, overwhelming tragedies and magnificent triumphs, rapid learnings through countless mistakes, courageous hope that has always guided us into new eras. This is a new era for us. And though the realities of the business must continued to be honored in order for these epic creations to come to fruition, the level of artistry and creativity that we are fueling in the world makes me deeply proud. Grateful to be on this journey with the greatest creative company in the world! Congrats to everyone who has dedicated their lives to this legendary effort. >>> https://lnkd.in/d-gGBkPx <<<
