Last night was an unforgettable experience at the private screening of "Show her the Money" – a testament to the power of female founders and investors, beautifully captured by Catherine Gray. 🎬 The film allows the viewer to witness their incredible journeys, I laughed, cried, and cheered them on, inspired by their resilience against all odds. 💪 Special thanks to Helen Fanucci (who helped produce this incredible film) for the invite. I especially loved the panel afterwards, having the opportunity to hear from CEO, Melissa Kiguwa, talk about her AI startup break*through, she is one to follow! 🔥 Moving to Arizona from Seattle in 2020 during the pandemic, I left for sunshine and found a thriving startup ecosystem reminiscent of Seattle's early days. 🚀 Excited to be part of this movement and connect with talented founders and investors shaping the future. Shout out to Josh Wagner and Justin Gray In Revenue Capital for their remarkable work at fueling the growth of seed stage startups. They raised their first fund and launched their firm last year. I love their investment thesis and am especially impressed at the balance of female-led companies in their portfolio. It was such an eye opening and touching film, aptly allowing the audience insights into the challenges female entrepreneurs face when seeking financial backing and VC investment funding. Oh I am so bummed to have missed this showing Cassandra- I drove up on the 10th and that one was fantastic but would have been amazing to see you and to see Helen again. They have started a movement for sure!
