It's no secret that it's been a choppy 18 months for fintech -- and yet the volatility is exactly why I'm long on it. There has never been a time in my investing career more exciting for early stage fintech than right now and the problems are as unsolved as ever. I often get asked who the up and coming fintech companies to watch are. Here in New York we're seeing leaders like Andres K. Marc Escapa Gavin Nachbar Oban MacTavish Paolo Bertolotti, PhD Bob Elliott R. Danae V. and the many others we featured on this list paving strong new paths we expect to be very notable in years to come. In this focal list, we highlighted 25 companies building locally who have raised a Seed or A in the last 18 months.
