💪🏻 Teambuilding with our Young Talents   Experiencing Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) in practice – that's what our Young Talents had the chance to do during an exciting team project in May. In cooperation with the Kreisjugendring München-Stadt (Munich City District Youth Association) and TATENDRANG Freiwilligen-Agentur, they built a new wood storage area and a water slide for children at the adventure playground "Oase Neuhausen".   For our dual students, the project day included not only project management and coordination of the various teams, but also manual and physical work. The result is certainly impressive: not only did the playground benefit from the social commitment of our Young Talents, but also their team spirit across different departments and levels of training.   The feedback from the participants in our joint retrospective was positive: "The project brought our team closer together, strengthened our communication skills and showed us how to find creative solutions together. It was an enriching experience," says Tim, a dual student specialising in Business Administration, Retail Management & E-Commerce.   The commitment of our young talents has also shown us as a company what we can achieve when we work together – the goal of our Code of Conduct "We! FACES OF HSE _ Today with Melanie Glufke When did you join HSE and what is your job? I've been with HSE since 2007 and as Manager Brand & Merchandise I'm responsible for the Household division. Together with the team, I source clever products for the home and garden, develop product strategies in collaboration with the Merchandise Planning Team and am on the lookout for new products. Name 3 qualities/key words that you think people should have for your job/department? In any case, enthusiasm for the products, a good feel for new trends and the needs of customers and, last but not least, a portion of flexibility and team spirit.  What makes HSE an attractive employer for you? In any case, the nice colleagues who have been with me for the last 17 years and benefits such as mobile working and flexible working hours, which make my day-to-day work much easier as a mom. HSE offers the most entertaining form of shopping - how do you and your department contribute directly or indirectly to this shopping experience? We are responsible for the products that are purchased. That's why we even contribute directly to the shopping experience. 🌟 Creators, content, creativity – A recap of our Manycreators by HSE event   Early April, we invited influencers, content creators and speakers to the Whiteloft Studio in Düsseldorf to discover the latest trends and topics from the world of social commerce and the creator economy as part of our exclusive networking event with @manycreators by HSE. Manycreators has been part of HSE since 2022 and is one of the early adopters of social commerce; they support content creators in building a sustainable following on social media platforms.   Over 50 guests attended the event, including influencers and creators from the fashion, beauty and lifestyle sectors as well as our special guests and speakers: social media expert Ravi Wali, TikTok Brand Partnership Manager Seda, Content Creator Claudio Prillwitz and Svenja Simmons, expert for hair and scalp health and founder of the new haircare brand at HSE "Ortie & me". From tips for the perfect TikTok to the latest social media trends and the art of product presentation, they each shared their expertise on relevant topics in the field of social commerce in an inspiring masterclass.
